Allen Robinson showed exactly what he brings to the Rams offense with one catch during Monday’s practice.
It was in a one-on-one red zone drill where Robinson matched up with Robert Rochell – a cornerback who brings great size to the table at 6-foot-2, 195 pounds. Matthew Stafford threw a fade to the left side of the end zone, and the ball arrived before Rochell could get his head turned around.
Robinson went up and snatched the ball out of the air, making a tough grab against tight coverage as the two went to the ground wrestling for possession. Robinson came up with it, using his size and strong hands to score a would-be touchdown.

The Rams didn’t have a receiver with Robinson’s wide catch radius and leaping ability last season until Odell Beckham Jr. arrived, and he immediately made them better in the red zone with catches like this one by A-Rob.
Expect to see plenty of fades to No. 1 this season.
