Watch: After Mecca, Shah Rukh Khan visits Vaishno Devi Temple, says report

Shah Rukh Khan visits Vaishno Devi Temple

Livemint has not been able to verify the authenticity of the said video.

In the said video, one security guard is heard asking the photographer not to take any pictures. He is also seen stopping the photographer from capturing images of the scene, where Shah Rukh is apparently coming out of a car.

The face of the Bollywood actor is not visible in the clip at all as the person seen in the video is wearing a black hooded jacket.

At the end of the video, footage from a mobile device shows the man in question - surrounded by security guards - stepping ahead in the path to the temple.

After completing the Saudi Arabian filming of his next movie Dunki, Khan was earlier photographed in Mecca. He was seen performing Umrah in numerous photos and videos that have appeared online.

Meanwhile, the team behind the eagerly-anticipated movie Pathaan debuted the first song on December 12. The upbeat dance number, Besharam Rang, shows Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone as the couple romancing each other in exotic locations across Europe.

Pathaan is Shah Rukh Khan's first major motion picture in more than four years. John Abraham is a featured actor in the action thriller, which is helmed by Siddharth Aanand. The movie is slated to hit theatres on January 25, 2023. It will be released in Tamil and Telugu dubbed versions apart from Hindi.

Who is Vaishno Devi?

The 'Navratra' is thought to have been observed by Mata Vaishno Devi, also known as Trikuta, in order to pray for Lord Rama's triumph over Ravana. According to legend, Lord Rama also promised her that she would be hailed as Mata Vaishno Devi and revered across the world. Rama's blessings are responsible for Mata Vaishno Devi's immortality and the thousands of pilgrims she currently draws to the shrine each year.
