There was no lack of big plays in Monday night’s Rams-Vikings game, and it was Los Angeles that provided most of them. The Rams made their 27-9 win look easy, thrashing the 14-win Vikings on a neutral field after a difficult week back home in L.A.
Right from the start, the Rams jumped out to a 7-0 lead on Kyren Williams’ touchdown catch, which was set up by a diving reception from Tyler Higbee. It was the second quarter when things got really lopsided, though.
Jared Verse returned a fumble 57 yards for a touchdown, Cobie Durant picked off Sam Darnold, Kobie Turner got a sack on fourth down and Davis Allen scored a touchdown to put the Rams up 24-3 at halftime. Four different receivers had catches of at least 23 yards, Kyren Williams had a 17-yard scamper and the Rams defense poured it on with nine total sacks to tie an NFL postseason record.
If you missed any of those plays, this 11-minute highlight package will catch you up on all the fun.
