More details continue to emerge from Sunday’s shooting that left Washington Commanders running back Brian Robinson Jr. hospitalized with two gunshot wounds.
On Monday, NBC 4 in Washington reported that two teens attempted to carjack Robinson, who fought them off, before one of the suspects fired at Robinson, hitting him twice in the leg and the hip.
Late Monday night, Washington D.C. Metro Police released images of the two suspects and the stolen getaway car on social media.

As for Robinson, he released a message on Instagram Monday, stating that “surgery went well” and thanked everyone for their prayers. Head coach Ron Rivera also discussed Robinson’s condition and shared with the media his thoughts on the continued gun violence in America.
