Following the conclusion of the last Premier League game before the World Cup, Cristiano Ronaldo took the controversial step of slamming his club and manager in a damning interview with Piers Morgan.
The interview, which will air as a two-part special on Wednesday and Thursday on TalkTV as part of Piers Morgan Uncensored, has already shaken the footballing world, with the 37-year-old revealed to have made stunning claims about his return to the club and the arrival of Erik ten Hag in the summer.
Among the revelations, Ronaldo claimed United showed a lack of empathy when his daughter was hospitalised in July, resulting in his late return to pre-season, whilst he also slammed the recruitment of Ralf Rangnick, claiming he'd 'never even heard of him'.
About ten Hag, Ronaldo stated he had 'no respect' for his current manager, who is trying to 'force him out', whilst he also took a swipe at former teammate and strike-partner Wayne Rooney's 'finished career'.
Manchester United fans have already made their opinions known on social media, backing the Dutch manager and calling for the club to 'terminate his contract'.
