Warzone 2 Season 3 reloaded is set to launch later today, bringing a much needed refresh to the game's third season. Here's when you can expect to dive in.
Warzone 2's mid-season refresh is upon is, with Warzone 2 Season 3 Reloaded launching later today. This mid season refresh is poised to introduce the Warzone Ranked beta to the game – the long awaited update which allows players and their squadmates to increase their status from the Bronze leagues all the way to the Iridescent leagues and flaunt a fancy rank.
Also included is a brand new DMZ experience for players – the Koschei Complex – which is a series of interconnected underground bunkers to test your mettle with tense close quarters encounters. The bunkers are, unsurprisingly, very dark, so you'll want to equip a flashlight and your best bunch of reflective clothing before heading down there, lest you get taken by the terrifying creatures of the night (aka other players).
Other notable new additions include legendary basketball player Kevin Durant making his way to the game as an Operator with a limited time store bundle. However, the most exciting new addition is the '09 Weapon Audio bundle which replaces the sound effects of specific weapons with ones from the original – and superior – Modern Warfare 2. Plus there's a Classic Soap Operator skin on the way too allowing to relive Mr. McTavish's glory days.
Warzone 2 season 3 reloaded release time
The Warzone 2 Season 3 reloaded release time is set for 6pm BST / 1pm EDT / 10am PDT today, with the update launching simultaneously worldwide across all platforms.
The Warzone 2 Season 3 reloaded update is available to preload now on PS5 and PS4, with the file size coming in at a reasonable 9.38GB.
The preload for the update isn't live just yet on PC, Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S at the time of writing, but it tends to be available for these platforms at 5pm BST / 12pm EDT / 9am PDT. Obviously, nothing is confirmed but we'd expect the update to be a similar size for those platforms so make sure you have 10GB free at least.
It's not long now until the update launches, so you can play Warzone Ranked all night tonight if you'd like to be the first player to sweat their way to Iridescent.
