There's a clear meta right now with loadouts and weapons in Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0, even following the Season 1 Reloaded update.
Call of Duty: Warzone 2 got its first big update with Season 1 Reloaded, with Activision and Raven Software confirming all the changes in a blog post, which included a fair bit of detail on weapon rebalancing. But apart from the obvious weapon nerfs, including nerfing shotguns so that they can no longer kill fully armoured players with one shot, the meta hasn't really changed.
While we've had some hands-on experience to dip into, we've also included tips from the Warzone loadout specialists over at warzoneloadout.games. Here are some of the best guns and loadouts for Season 1 Reloaded.
Best Warzone 2 guns and loadouts for Season 1 Reloaded
RPK - Long Range Meta - LMG
The RPK is the absolute meta weapon in Warzone 2.0 right now, for long-range gunfights at least.
Taq 56 - Long Range Meta - Assault Rifle
- Muzzle: Echoless-80
- Barrel: 17.5" Tundra Pro Barrel
- Optic: Aim-OP V4
Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56
- Magazine: 60-Round Mag
Although not quite as good as the RPK, the Taq 56 still hits pretty hard and is much easier to level up and unlock.
Fennec 45 - Short Range Meta - SMG
The Fennec 45 is still the absolute meta in Warzone 2.0 at close range, and this build should treat you very nicely.
SP-X 80 - Sniper Meta - Sniper
Snipers are really powerful right now in Warzone 2.0, and guess what, they weren't nerfed in Season 1 Reloaded! The SP-X 80 is the best option for snipers right now.
