Largest British warship HMS Queen Elizabeth arrives in Liverpool
The largest warship ever built for Britain arrived in Liverpool today as huge crowds gathered to watch.

The mighty 65,000-tonne behemoth is the largest warship ever built for Britain and is one of two aircraft carriers along with her sister ship HMS Prince of Wales. The £3.2billion warship is out for training exercises and is due to head north to Scotland after its visit to Liverpool.
The 280-metre ship will visit the port of Liverpool and berth at the City of Liverpool Cruise Terminal. The ship arrived at the Port of Liverpool at around 1pm today before continuing on to its berth at the cruise terminal at 3pm.
A controlled zone of 250m either side and an exclusion zone 800m ahead of the huge ship was enforced while it journeyed down the Mersey. The zones will be managed by Ministry of Defence patrol craft during the vessel's visit. Tug boats could be seen assisting HMS Queen Elizabeth down the Mersey.
Woman banned from every Jet2 flight for life after 'slapping passengers'
A woman was banned from Jet2 flights for life after her "aggressive behaviour" forced a plane to be diverted.
Catherine Bush was handed lifetime ban by the airline and slapped with a £5,000 fine after she launched into a foul-mouthed rant at cabin crew members. She was filmed pacing up and down the flight to Turkey, screaming and swearing at staff.
The airline said Bush "displayed a catalogue of aggressive, abusive and dangerous behaviour" which included "physical aggression towards other customers and our crew."
She also reportedly slapped other passengers onboard the flight during her aggressive outbursts which forced the flight to be diverted to Vienna just over two hours after leaving Manchester Airport. Bush was escorted off the plane by armed officers and was heckled by other passengers as she left, Yorkshire Live reports.
Breed of dog that killed baby Bella-Rae Birch in horror attack confirmed
Police have confirmed the breed of a dog which mauled 17-month-old Bella-Rae Birch to death in her own home.
The baby girl was mauled by the animal at her home at around 3.50pm on Monday, March 21. Emergency services rushed to the scene, on Bidston Avenue, St Helens and took the baby to hospital.
Tragically, Bella-Rae died from her injuries in hospital a short time later. Police have reported that Bella-Rae's family had bought the dog just a week before the attack.
Tests have confirmed that the dog involved was an American Bully XL, a legal breed not subject to any prohibitions under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991.
Since the news of her death thousands of people have paid tribute to Bella-Rae online and dozens have left flowers, balloons and teddy bears at the scene.
A little boy in his school uniform was seen walking up to the cordon and handing a police officer a pink star balloon with 'Rest in peace Bella Rae' written on it, along with a small rabbit teddy bear with the pink nose.
