The wait is over.
After winning the 2022 NBA championship, the Golden State Warriors will open the doors of Chase Center in San Francisco to host the LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers for the 2022-23 NBA season opener.
Prior to the game, the Warriors will unveil their new 2022 banner along with receiving their championship rings in a special ceremony.
With their first test coming against James, Anthony Davis and the Lakers, the Warriors will attempt to run it back and defend their title with a similar core led by Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Jordan Poole, Andrew Wiggins, Draymond Green and Kevon Looney.
