The defending champion Golden State Warriors are 3-6 to begin the season, which can’t possibly be the record that they — either within the organization or outside of it — could have envisioned having prior to the start of the NBA season.
But while the Warriors’ season has been anything but foreseeable, they’re becoming a more predictable bet to make with each passing game.
Predictable how? Well, amidst the losses, Golden State is proving it can win the third quarter. Through nine games played, the Dubs are 6-3 straight up in the third frame. They’re also averaging 31.2 points in the quarter and have a +2.7 point differential on average. So, go ahead and bet those Warriors third quarter moneylines.
Also, bet the overs on Warriors games. They currently score the most points per game (118.8) in the NBA, but are also allowing the most to opponents (122.2). Add the two of those together and you get high-scoring NBA games and a team whose games have hit the over seven out of nine times.
Run to your sportsbook and bet on the Warriors, no matter how weird their season has been.
