Warriors’ Steph Curry becomes 49th player to enter NBA’s 20,000 point club

With each game, there seems to be a new record or achievement looming for Stephen Curry. On Thursday night against the Denver Nuggets, the Golden State Warriors guard entered one of the league’s exclusive scoring clubs.

Following a deep 3-pointer from near the logo in the third quarter on Thursday, Curry became the 49th player in league history to score 20,000 career points.

After dropping 34 points against the Nuggets to lead the Warriors to a win on Thursday, the two-time Most Valuable Player has 20,006 points on the books.

Curry joins Wilt Chamberlain and Kevin Durant as the third member in Warriors franchise history to score 20,000 career points. LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul, Russell Westbrook, James Harden and Durant are the other active NBA players in the 20,000 point scored club.

Here’s a look at one of Curry’s buckets against every other team in the association.
