Trailing 0-1 in the second-round series, the Golden State Warriors will be without a key piece in the starting lineup to open Game 2 on Thursday against the Los Angeles Lakers at Chase Center.
After impressing on the glass throughout the postseason, Kevon Looney will come off the bench in Game 2. The veteran center is dealing with an illness and will be available for Game 2, but he won’t start against the Lakers on Thursday.
Veteran forward JaMychal Green is set to start in the frontcourt alongside Draymond Green, Andrew Wiggins, Klay Thompson and Steph Curry in Game 2.

The Warriors say Kevon Looney is not feeling well but will attempt to play. Sounds like it is at least part of the reason for the JaMychal Green for Looney starting lineup swap.
