Coming off their first win of the season on Friday against the Sacramento Kings, the Golden State Warriors will likely bring in some reinforcements before turning their attention to the Houston Rockets on Sunday afternoon.
After missing the first two games of the 2023-24 campaign due to an ankle injury, signs are pointing towards Draymond Green returning to the Warriors’ rotation on Sunday against the Rockets.
At shootaround on Saturday, Green said he plans to play. However, he doesn’t know if he will be on a minutes restriction or if he will be coming off the bench.

Green missed every preseason game and most of training camp due to an ankle injury. The Warriors will likely be cautious when it comes to integrating Green back into the rotation.
With Green’s return looming, Steve Kerr will have to get creative with his new-look rotation that features Chris Paul. The veteran point guard has started his first two games as a Warrior.
Tip off between the Warriors and Rockets is set for 4 p.m. PT on Sunday in Houston.
