After inking a contract with the Golden State Warriors during the offseason, Cory Joseph will turn his attention to the FIBA World Cup before suiting up in blue and gold.
Joseph will join Team Canada for the upcoming FIBA World Cup. Joseph will share the court with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, RJ Barrett, Dillon Brooks, Zach Edey, Lu Dort, newly crowned NBA champion Jamal Murray and other Canadian players.
Fellow Canadian and Warrior Andrew Wiggins won’t be on the roster for the FIBA World Cup.

Joseph and the rest of Team Canada recently opened training camp to prepare for their upcoming set of games in the FIBA World Cup. The FIBA World Cup will begin on August 25 in the Phillippines, Japan and Indonesia. Canada will open against France in Indonesia on August 25. Canada will also meet Latvia and Lebanon in the group stage of the World Cup tournament.
