After a much-needed stop at home that resulted in a win over the Miami Heat on Thursday, the Golden State Warriors are set to take off for their first extended road swing of the 2022-23 campaign.
The Warriors will open their five-game road trip with a contest against Gordon Hayward, Kelly Oubre Jr. and the Charlotte Hornets on Saturday evening in the Queen City.
Following a blowout loss to the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday, the Warriors (3-2) answered the bell with a victory over the Heat at Chase Center on Thursday evening. Steph Curry led all scorers, dropping 33 points for his fourth 30-point performance of the new season.
The Hornets are coming off back-to-back defeats, including a 20-point loss to the Orlando Magic on Friday night to move their record to 2-3.
