Warren Buffett is generous with his Berkshire Hathaway salary. The legendary CEO famously only takes a minimal salary for his role as the head of the multinational conglomerate.

Last year, Buffett, and his long-term right hand Charlie Munger, earned $100,000 for his role at the company CEO. Buffett had total compensation of nearly $402,000 when you account for the money the company spent on Buffett's personal and home security last year.
Of that $100,000, Buffett reimbursed Berkshire $50,000 for utilizing personnel and having the company "pay for minor items such as postage or phone calls."
Meanwhile, Greg Abel and Ajit Jain, Berkshires twin vice chairmen, took home total compensation above $19 million each last year, according to the company's regulatory filing.
Don't cry for Buffett, he is the world's fifth richest person with a net worth of $104 billion, according to Bloomberg. But he also doesn't spend much of his money and famously still lives in the same house in Omaha, Neb., that he has lived in for 65 years.
