An important warning has been issued to anybody who buys Bertolli, Flora and I Can't Believe It's Not Butter. Customers have been told that tubs are shrinking but prices will remain the same.
It comes after Lurpak has seen its price soar to £9. Upfield, which makes Bertolli, Flora and I Can't Believe It's Not Butter, has reduced its sizes from 500g to 450g.
Birmingham Mail reports that prices have either stayed the same or in some cases they have risen. A tub of 450g Bertolli butter is priced at £2.85 compared to the 500g which was £2.45.

A spokeswoman for Upfield told The Grocer: "We are seeing significant commodity cost increases, including our raw ingredients. This has impacted our supply and has increased our manufacturing costs.
"To continue providing consumers with affordable and quality products we have had to reduce the amount of spread in our 500g tubs to 450g to ensure a reasonable price point and have clearly stated this on pack."
The spokeswoman for Upfield added: "During these unprecedented times, we are committed to limiting the impact of these tough times on consumers and will endeavour to provide the best value possible, whilst still remaining competitive."
It comes as Lurpak continues to go viral, with tubs reaching £9 a pop in some UK stores recently. Shoppers have been left fuming with the hikes, which come during the Cost of Living crisis.
