Travellers flying with Ryanair this week are being warned of an important update. The change will affect those who are due to fly on any Ryanair flight from any airport in the UK, whether that's travelling inbound our outbound.
Many customers may not see the update though as Ryanair have only listed it in a short banner on their website. It comes after Ryanair announced a new flight route to Rome from Liverpool John Lennon Airport, which will operate twice a week from April.
Those who need access to Ryanair may run into problems from Wednesday, January 25 and Ryanair have explained why.

The airline's website and mobile app will be temporarily down from January 25 at 11.30pm through to 1.30am on Thursday, January 26 due to planned maintenance. Ryanair are urging customers to check in before the planned maintenance is due to start.
In a statement on their website, Ryanair said: "Due to planned maintenance, Ryanair website / app will be temporarily down from 23:30 on Wed 25 Jan – 01:30hrs GMT on Thu, 26 Jan.
"Customers who are due to fly during this period should check-in online before 23:00 , Wed, 25 Jan."
Those who have not yet checked in online for flights over this two-day period or this week, should do so before 11pm on Wednesday, January 25, 2023.
If you need to make changes to your booking or check your flight time, then you are also advised to do so before 11pm on the above date.
All Ryanair customers can check-in online, free of charge, up to two hours before their scheduled flight departure. Their check-in timeframes vary depending on whether customers are purchasing a seat.
Travellers can also check-in for flights 60 days in advance of both departure flights by purchasing a seat or if they have a Flexi Plus ticket. Both outbound and return flights must be within 60 days of departure.
Those who choose not to purchase a seat, will be able to check-in 24 hours in advance of each departure flight and a seat will be allocated to you free of charge, but it may not be next to someone you are travelling with.
