A warning to parents has been circulated across an area of Merseyside after a man exposed himself to a child on the way home from school.
The email, from a school in the area, was sent out this afternoon and states while walking home a teenager was approached by a "chubby" man with short brown or black hair close to Bedford Park in Southport. The incident happened last week and was reported to Merseyside Police.
The email also claims that another man may also have been involved but this has not been confirmed.

The email said: "Please be aware that a teenager near Bedford Park has reported to the police that a man (possibly with another man) exposed himself to him. The child reported the man to be quite “chubby with short black or brown hair."
Merseyside Police was approached for a comment.
