Warning over viral Logan Paul energy drink as fake Prime bottles allegedly sold in Dublin

Fake bottles of Logan Paul's viral energy drink are being reportedly sold in Dublin.

The US YouTuber launched Prime, a range of energy drinks comprised mainly of coconut water and electrolytes, with English rapper and fellow YouTuber KSI in 2022. Fans were delighted after the drinks, which come in five flavours, hit the shelves in Ireland with a price tag of €15 a bottle last month.

A warning was issued that a number of fake bottles of Prime are allegedly being sold in Dublin. Buyers have been urged to check the shape of the bottles to determine if the drink is real or fake.

The authentic bottles of Prime have four depth ribs. Meanwhile, the fake bottles only have two (one at the top and another at the bottom).

There has been a huge surge in demand across the UK and Ireland for Prime since the range was first launched. The pressures on retailers meant Aldi Ireland was forced to release a statement on the issue, confirming it has no plans to stock the item for the foreseeable future.
