A man is wanted in connection with an assault after a woman was left with serious facial injuries.
Lancashire Police are searching for William Jarvis, 41, from Skelmersdale after a woman was kicked - suffering facial fractures and damage to her teeth. The assault took place in Dearden Way on August 14, 2022, and Jarvis is described as white, 5ft 7ins, of medium build with short dark hair and has part of his left ear missing.
Officers have been conducting extensive enquiries to find Jarvis who is believed to be to be in Liverpool. Lancashire Police are asking anyone with information to come forward and contact police with his whereabouts. In a statement, they said Jarvis "could become violent if approached."

Det Con Kerry Briggs, of Skelmersdale CID, said: “This was a horrific attack which left a woman requiring hospital treatment for serious facial injuries. We have conducted extensive, lengthy enquiries and at this time have yet to make an arrest.
“William Jarvis is wanted in connection with this matter. We believe someone knows where he is and can assist with our investigation.”
