Dublin Fire Brigade has issued a warning to the public to keep an eye out for little homeinvaders - after a mouse caused a fire and perished.
Fire brigade callouts are at their highest in October, with 1,821 incidents reported to Dublin Fire Brigade in October of 2020, more than double those in the likes of April.
This can mainly be put down to Halloween and the subsequent build up to Halloween, but other smaller incidents will sometimes cause the emergency services to be called.
