A weather warning for thunderstorms is set to dampen the final day of the Platinum Jubilee, though the North East should miss the worst of the downpours.
The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for thunderstorms across much of England and Wales from midnight until 6pm on Sunday evening. Forecasters said the weather could cause travel disruption, while flooding is possible in some areas.
Heavy rain, and potentially even hail, will batter down on day four of Platinum Jubilee events. The most likely areas to be affected are parts of the Midlands, East Anglia and southeast England.

The Met Office said some places could see 15-20mm in an hour, and even up to 50mm. The thunderstorms will slowly spread into southern parts of northern England on Sunday morning before easing.
Further south, drier conditions are expected to briefly develop on Sunday morning before further showers and thunderstorms develop over some parts of southern England, Wales, the Midlands and East Anglia later. On Saturday, a yellow warning for thunderstorms is in place for parts of southwest England until the early afternoon.
For the North East, the Met Office said early cloud would thin with some brightness possible inland. But it said it would become cloudy again later, with heavy rain for many areas by the evening.
