Wanted self-proclaimed Jim Carrey lookalike mocks police - after asking them for a reward to hand himself in

A wanted self-proclaimed Jim Carrey lookalike has mocked police - after asking them for a reward to hand himself in. Devon Bentley, 19, is currently wanted by Staffordshire Police in connection with suspected burglary offences.

But he doesn't seem to be too concerned, after repeatedly responding to a local news site's social media post on the police appeal. The 19-year-old from Normacot, who is still at large, wrote on Stoke-on-Trent Live's page: "Is there a reward for his whereabouts?

"I'm a B-Tech Jim Kerry bro." He later added: "I'm here sir."

And, when one reader questioned why the police aren't spending their time chasing on-the-run paedophiles and rapists, Devon replied: "Excuse me, I am not one of them."

Bentley's comments clearly amused locals with hundreds deciding to share their take on the situation.

On reader quipped. "Some people think they're a cut above the law. While another added: "He must get tired of living on the Fringe of Society."

A third said: "Stoke-on-Trent's son-to-be hide-and-seek champion."

Devon Bentley is on recall to prison, and anyone who knows his whereabouts should call the police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
