Wanted Bristol man back in jail after arrest following urgent 999 appeal

A wanted Bristol man is back in prison after being found and arrested by police. Joshua Bryant, 30, was spotted in the Horfield area yesterday by a member of the public who informed officers.

Avon and Somerset Police released an urgent public appeal to find him last Friday (May 12). People were urged not to approach Bryant and to call 999 if they saw him.

The 30-year-old was wanted on a recall to prison. Police have confirmed today (May 16) that he has been located and arrested, thanking the public for their help.

The force said on Twitter: "On Friday we asked for help to find wanted man Joshua Bryant. Someone who saw our appeal called us yesterday saying he was in the Horfield area of Bristol.

"Officers quickly arrested him and he has since been recalled to prison. Thank you - your support made all the difference."
