If you've ever cleared a snowy driveway with just a shovel, you know it can be a chilly, exhausting, and overwhelming project. Clearing icy walkways is still just as important as ever, but these days the snow blower is a much easier alternative to clear your driveways, patios, and sidewalks of snow.

Right now, Walmart has reduced the price of the Greenworks 60V 24-Inch Cordless Brushless Two-Stage Snow Blower from $2,000 to $1,398. Also called a snow thrower, this device looks similar to a lawn mower and works by self-propelling snow, shooting it up to 50 feet in the distance. If you want to tackle upcoming snow days, you can't go wrong with this massively marked-down snow blower.

Traditionally snow blowers are powered with fuel, like diesel or gasoline, or plugged into a power line. The Greenworks snow blower is cordless, but it doesn't use fuel, rather it uses dual batteries. These batteries have enough power to clear an 18-car driveway with one charge.

Shoppers also mentioned an unexpected benefit from switching to a battery-powered snow blower, as explained by one reviewer, "Bought this to replace my two-stage gas snowblower. It works perfectly and throws snow further than my gas machine did. A big plus is the quiet operation and the fact that when I am done, I no longer stink from exhaust fumes."

Most of all, people are just extremely impressed by the performance of this battery-powered snow thrower. One shopper wrote, "We haven't had crazy snow falls but it did well with our first use of about 14 inches. Batteries charge quickly. Bring on the snow."

Another recurring benefit reviewers mentioned (besides the impressive ability to clear away snow) was the quietness of the machine. "I was surprised that it is as powerful, much easier to handle, no fumes, and very quiet compared to a gas one," wrote one shopper. Another reviewer said, "Also, [I] love the fact that I can listen to music while snow blowing as it is very quiet."

If you're feeling intimidated about the world of snow machinery check out this review: "I purchased this snowblower just before we got hit with several inches of snow over a two-week period of time. I am extremely happy with the performance. I'm a 66-year-old female and it's easy enough to use while getting the job done!"

Since the $2,000 Greenworks 60V 24-Inch Cordless Brushless Two-Stage Snow Blower won't be on sale for $1,389 too long, we suggest scoring this great deal while you still can.
