Most of us have run into a baking mishap halfway through a recipe when we realize that a stand mixer is really more of a necessity than a suggestion. Stand mixers, however, are one of the more expensive countertop appliances out there — especially if you have been holding out for the coveted KitchenAid.

But you don't need to spend hundreds of dollars to get a great mixer — in fact, you can stop at just $100 and purchase the Honinst 6.5-quart Stand Mixer while it's on sale. Originally retailing for $290, this mixer is currently going for $190 under asking at Walmart.

Though it may not have the most popular brand name, this mixer has a ton of features that make it a competitor both in performance and aesthetics to more well-known options. There are 10 speed levels to choose from, and the tilt head makes it easy to scrape the whisk or hook, remove the bowl, and add ingredients.

"As someone who only had a hand mixer and couldn't afford a stand mixer, this product changed my life," said one shopper. "I am beyond impressed with the quality of the motor, the paddles, and the stand. This is such an amazing mixer! If you're holding out for a KitchenAid, I get it, but I personally think you would get more bang for your buck with this guy. The quality is exceptional, with a variety of attachments for various purposes, and it is easy to use and clean.

It comes in eight colors including everything from neutrals to fun pastels, and it also has a dough hook, whisk, beater, and bowl.

"It's super easy to use — just turn the knob to make it spin fast or slow," said one shopper. "Attachments are easy to open and close."

It was also designed to run quietly, remaining under 60 decibels even when on full power — the level of a casual conversation.

This mixer is on sale now, but as a flash deal, it's not expected to last long. Get your new mixer now for the best price of $100.
