Hooker Tania Naden is in line to make her Test debut as the Wallaroos look to cement a Rugby World Cup quarter-final berth with a win over Wales on Saturday.

The Brumbies rake gets her first chance of the tournament, named on the bench for the Whangarei clash following the suspension of Ashley Marsters.

Both teams go into the final pool game on four points with a win and a loss from their first two matches, while unbeaten hosts New Zealand sit on 10 points.

The top two teams advance automatically to the play-offs, while the best two third-placed sides among the three pools also make the quarter-finals.

As well as Naden, Australia coach Jay Tregonning made three unforced changes to his starting line-up.

Tighthead prop Bridie O'Gorman will rejoin the starting front row, replacing Eva Karpani, who moves back to the reserves, and lock Michaela Leonard will have her first World Cup start after coming off the bench during the opening match against New Zealand.

She takes over from Sera Naiqama in the second row.

Winger Ivania Wong replaces last week's debutante, Maya Stewart, who was part of their thrilling two-point win over Scotland.

Five-eighth Arabella McKenzie has overcome a knee injury to be named.

Whiel Naden gets her call-up through suspension, Tregonning said she had earnt the opportunity.

"The coaching staff and I have been impressed by Tania Naden's determination during our time at the Rugby World Cup," Tregonning said in a statement.

"Every direction, every adjustment we've suggested, she's taken on board and actioned.

"Though we got the win last weekend, we left a lot of opportunities on the field, and that's something we're seeking to improve on this Saturday."

The Wallaroos will sport their First Nations jerseys during their match against Wales.
