It's good news for crisp lovers as Walkers have made a return to supermarkets.
Fans of the savoury snack were up in arms before Christmas when supply chain issues meant shelves were stripped bare.
Some argued it was the most significant crisis of the year, saying they could tolerate no toilet roll and no petrol, but 'a shortage of Walkers crisps is just too much'.
And other cheeky fans even started flogging packs on eBay for a £7 a pop.
The company said the shortage was due to an IT upgrade which had 'disrupted the supply' and that although Walkers sites were still making crisps and snacks, it was 'at a reduced scale'.
Thankfully the 'crisis' appears to be over and on our visit to the four main supermarkets - Tesco, Sainsbury's, Morrisons and Asda - all had shelves packed with crisps of all flavours, including cheese and onion, which I'm told has been Walkers' top flavour since records began.
But while the packs may be exactly the same, the cost certainly isn't.
With retailers able to set their own prices, Tesco and Asda are selling the six-pack for £1.50, yet at Sainsbury's and Morrisons the exact same product is £1.70.
It may not seem a lot, but the difference equates to 13.3% and it all adds up when you're doing that weekly shop.
And when prices of groceries are increasing along with utility bills and other expenses, families will be looking to save wherever they can.
A spokesperson for Walkers said: “We’re now well into our recovery, producing and serving all of our top selling lines. We remain in close contact with all of our retailer partners to keep them updated with progress.”
