Walker Little, Zay Jones having MRIs to evaluate knee injuries

Jacksonville Jaguars offensive lineman Walker Little and wide receiver Zay Jones will both be getting MRIs on Monday to reveal the extent of knee injuries suffered in a Week 5 win against the Buffalo Bills, head coach Doug Pederson said Monday.

Little, 24, left the game after playing only 11 snaps after suffering a left knee injury. After heading to the locker room under his own power, Little returned to the Jaguars sideline but never re-entered the game.

The lineman, who started at left tackle in the place of Cam Robinson for the first four weeks of the year, moved inside to left guard in Week 5. Following his departure, the Jaguars turned to veteran lineman Tyler Shatley, the team’s Week 4 starter at left guard, to step into the lineup for the remainder of the game.

Jones, 28, made his return to the Jaguars’ lineup in Week 5 after sitting out the two games prior with a knee injury. He played 38 snaps Sunday and caught three passes, including a 6-yard touchdown in the back of the end zone, before limping off the field with a right knee issue.
