A 'Walk for Parkinson's' has been scheduled to take place in Falkirk to help raise funds for a cure for the disease
The event will begin at 6pm at The Kelpies on Thursday, June 9 with routes of a mile or five miles available around The Helix.
Sponsorship of £50 is needed to take part in the summer evening walk and is costs £12 for adults and £6 for under 18s to sign up.
Parkinson's disease is a brain disorder that causes unintended or uncontrollable movements, with symptoms worsening over time.
People with the condition may have difficulty with balance and coordination and as it progresses, find it hard to walk and talk.
Registration for 'Walk for Parkinson's' closes on Sunday, June 5 and sign ups on the day of the event itself will not be accepted.
