Wales vs Scotland prediction and odds: Injury-hit holders set for another struggling test in Cardiff

Wales will be looking to salvage a result against a Scotland side who will be on cloud nine after achieving back-to-back Calcutta Cup for only the second time in almost 30 years.

With eight injuries hanging over the Wales squad, including captain Alun Wyn Jones, it seems like Wayne Pivac has the impossible task of raising a side with the aim to defend the Six Nations championship.

Last weekend, Wales were well beaten by Ireland in Dublin and will want to improve on their performance against Scotland when Dan Biggar leads the side in his 100th cap.

Meanwhile, Scotland enjoyed a big win at Murrayfield against England in their Six Nations opener and are in perfect position to win their first two Six Nations matches ever.

Prediction for Wales vs Scotland

It will be a great moment for Biggar personally when he wins his 100th cap tomorrow - only the seventh Welshman to achieve the feat.

He will join legends including Jones, Gethin Jenkins, Stephen Jones, George North, Martyn Williams and Gareth Thomas when he walks out to the Principality Stadium.

However, I feel Scotland have a lot to offer at the moment and could well be dark horses in this year's championship if they can seal a win in Wales too in the Doddie Weir Cup.

Tip: Scotland to win by 1-12 points - 6/4
