Bargoed RFC's Duane Dyer scored a try of the season contender with a sumptuous diving 'Superman' catch and finish from a cross-field kick.
The move started with a ruck forming within the opposing Beddau RFC 22, before full-back Josh Prosser looked up to see what was on and decided to kick wide, with acres of space inviting an attack. Dyer was haring down on to the kick, with one covering defender trying to make it there before him.
The ball looked to be landing awkwardly for the 32-year-old wing, but instead of letting it bounce, he dived for it in spectacular fashion and dotted down in one movement to complete a quite remarkable effort.
The crowd roared in jubilation as the big man got up with an infectious smile on his face. Team-mates rushed to congratulate Dyer, who is the older brother of Wales and Dragons winger Rio.
A video of the score, posted by Bargoed coach Mike Pugsley, has been viewed 400,000 times on Twitter alone, with many people in awe of the skill and athleticism, which has been described as "outrageous".
The try would go on to prove crucial in Bargoed grabbing the win, and was their penultimate score in a 31-17 scoreline in the National Championship. Bargoed said Duane is a "well respected and valued member of the Bargoed RFC squad and has been with the club for the last seven years."
