Wales hero Joe Ledley joined The Barry Horns on stage in Dubai to perform his own chant and it was brilliant

Joe Ledley joined brass band The Barry Horns on stage to perform his famous chant as fans soaked up the atmosphere ahead of Wales' opening game of the World Cup.

The former Wales midfielder was in attendance at McCafferty's Irish pub in Dubai as members of the Red Wall gathered the day before the clash with the USA and looked to be enjoying the party atmosphere as fans took over the venue.

The Barry Horns, a fixture of Wales' international matches, were also there keeping fans entertained and before long broke into a rendition of their chant 'Ain't Nobody Like Joe Ledley' - a version of Rufus and Chaka Khan's 'Ain't Nobody' dreamed up ahead of Euro 2016.

With the toots of the horns bouncing around the pub, there were calls for the man himself to get involved. The former Cardiff City star obliged and made his way to the stage, posing for selfies and videos with fans on the way.

When he arrived on the stage, the fan favourite stood with The Barry Horns boys as those in the pub clapped along and even tried his hand at playing the trumpet after the instrument was eagerly handed to him by a member of the band.

But while he may have been a fantastic footballer, his musical skills weren't quite as impressive, with the 35-year-old laughing at his own efforts before soldiering on to the delight of the crowd.

Wales fans have certainly made themselves heard at the World Cup already, with around 1,600 supporters attending an eight-hour party at a hotel in Doha ahead of the USA game on Monday and drinking the bar the dry - despite a pint costing over £10.

Supporters were already having the time of their lives at the party when the legendary Dafydd Iwan turned up and led a rousing rendition of Yma o Hyd, which brought the house down. You can read more about that epic party here.
