Wales football star Jess Fishlock has said she is "looking into" a career in politics.
Ms Fishlock is Wales' most capped player. She grew up in Cardiff and has lived in Germany, France, Australia, America and Holland. You can read her life story here.
Speaking to ITV Cymru Wales programme Face to Face, she said was asked if she was looking to a coaching career when she retires, but said she wouldn't rule out a future career in either the boardroom, or politics, saying she wants "a bigger impact in not just the football world...helping people who get to influence decisions, influence the right decisions and make the right decisions."
"With my experiences and everything I have gone through and different cultures and understanding of the women's game in so many different countries and watching so many different federations doing things in different ways, there is no right or wrong way. But in the women's game, one thing I feel we really lack is the right people in the right positions who really understand the game.
"My experience in those positions I believe will help you move in the right way for women's football because it's a completely different game."
About a politics career she said: "Honestly, I wouldn't mind it. I'm looking into it."
"I think as I've grown older and seen the way society is going I definitely want to have a bigger impact not just in the football world. I want to create a bigger change".
She has been awarded an MBE for services to football and the LGBT community and topped WalesOnline's Pinc List.
"I was gay female athlete in the 90s. It wasn't easy. I went through a lot of difficult times... I felt like I had no visibility when I was a kid...
"I had to navigate everything kind of by myself, and I woke up one day... I think I was in my early 20s and I was just like, you know what? I felt so comfortable with myself then that I decided to come out publicly while still playing.
"I wouldn't change my generation. I wouldn't change a thing."
