Wales will face the world's second-best ranked side Germany in their inaugural Women's Nations League campaign.
The draw for the newly-formed tournament took place in Nyon, Switzerland, on Tuesday afternoon, with Gemma Grainger's side being placed in the same group as the Germans - who are Europe's best-ranked team. They are also paired with Denmark and Iceland.
It represents a tough ask for Wales who are the bottom seeds and lowest ranked side in group A3.
However, Grainger's outfit are unbeaten in six matches since suffering a 2-1 loss to Switzerland in the World Cup play-offs in October.
Elsewhere, England have been paired with Scotland in group A1 while France are in group A2 with Norway.
The tournament gets under way in September, with further matches being played in across October, November and December. The finals are scheduled to take place in February 2024.
Fixture dates will be announced by UEFA in due course.
