Uncapped young Cardiff threequarter Mason Grady has been called into camp to train with Wales.
The highly rated 20-year-old is not an official squad member, but is training with the group as part of his development. The younger brother of the six-times capped Cory Allen, he can play at centre and wing, like his sibling.
At 6ft 5ins and 17st 4lbs, he offers a real physical presence, as a powerful carrier and an abrasive defender. He also has the pace to do damage in the wider channels, picks nice lines, has good hands and is strong in the air.

He first represented Wales U20s aged just 17 and immediately caught the eye when he took his bow for Cardiff Blues.
He’s had his injury issues along the way, but he’s been fit and firing over the past few months, showing up well for Wales U20s in a tournament in Italy over the summer and figuring regularly for Cardiff during the early weeks of the season, taking his total number of regional appearances up to 12.

Sport certainly runs in the family. His mother Julie played basketball for Rhondda Rebels and competed at the Commonwealth Games, while brother and fellow threequarter Cory has had spells with Cardiff, the Ospreys and now the Dragons. Mason's other brother is Ashton Allen, who stands 7ft high and has had a Welsh cap in basketball.
Grady has been called into the Welsh camp as part of his development.
