The White Lotus‘ Walton Goggins and Aimee Lou Wood will remain etched in our hearts as Rick and Chelsea, but eagle-eyed fans are noticing some pretty suss social media activity that’s got us questioning if there’s drama brewing.
Spoiler alert, their characters Chelsea (Wood) and Rick (Goggins) tragically ended the latest season of The White Lotus in body bags, leaving fans in all kinds of emotional disarray.
Both actors went on to pen some pretty sweet tributes to each other and the tragic love story following the finale, including a whole bunch of selfies on Goggins’ Instagram Story set to Fleetwood Mac’s “Silver Springs”.
Which is why reports of a feud have me in ruin.

Just one of a DOZEN. (Source: Instagram)
On Monday, shortly after the finale, a Reddit user questioned if the actors had a falling out, explaining they had unfollowed each other on Instagram a few weeks prior.
“Walton posts White Lotus stuff and tags everyone in the photos except Aimee Lou Wood, posts a whole tribute to White Lotus and still doesn’t tag her, posts tons of pictures of her on his story in a commemorative tribute to the show. What happened?” the Redditor wrote.
The post in question was an IG dump featuring pics of Goggins and The White Lotus cast — such as Michelle Monaghan (Jaclyn), Parker Posey (Victoria Ratliff) and Lalisa Manobal (Mook).
While fans noticed most of Goggins’ co-stars were tagged in the post, it appeared that Wood’s account was snubbed.
At the time of writing, the post is still up, but it now appears that everyone has been untagged.
Still, it’s been enough to stir feathers.
“I’m honestly gobsmacked,” one user wrote on X (formerly Twitter) while another speculated if Goggins had been blocked by Wood.
The two aren’t following each other on Instagram (and TBH, fans aren’t sure if they ever did) but the actors do follow plenty of their season three castmates, including Patrick Schwarzenegger (Saxon), Carrie Coon (Laurie), Leslie Bibb (Kate), and Monaghan.

Fans are going hard on speculations that Wood has blocked her co-star, claiming her previous comments are now gone from his profile though his comments still appear on her posts.
Another Redditor observed Goggins and Wood were once doing plenty of press together, that is, up until a few months ago. Now, the only content together seems to come from co-tags from HBO-affiliated accounts.
Talk about major side-eye.

Back in February, Goggins told PEOPLE that he “thinks the world” of his co-star and that they became “enmeshed” over the course of filming, similar to their characters Rick and Chelsea. He also said the pair had no screen test but hit it off instantly when they met, per The Telegraph.
“I’m such a fan of Aimee’s and the very first time that we met was in Thailand, even though we began texting before that,” he told the publication, continuing that after they had lunch together for the first time, “we were three minutes into the conversation when I think we both knew that, ‘Oh, this person is, on some levels, a soulmate’.”
Wood also told Vanity Fair that the two became “very close” while filming the show.

So seriously, what’s the tea!?!? Neither actor has really commented on any of the drama (and with The White Lotus officially wrapped, not sure if they would want to) so honestly, I wouldn’t hold my breath.
Sparking even more rumours of feud, let’s not forget Jason Isaacs (Timothy Ratliff) hinting at some major cast drama behind-the-scenes, describing the cast dynamic as “a cross between summer camp and Lord of the Flies“.
Seven months at the Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui might sound like heaven, but apparently, it was more like a pressure cooker. “It wasn’t a holiday,” Isaacs said.
“Some people got very close, there were friendships that were made and friendships that were lost.”
So were Wood and Goggins part of this damage?? Is there more to the drama than meets the eye? Bestie, I’m going to need some answers stat.
