Coleen Rooney has arrived at the High Court wearing a foot brace.
Mrs Rooney fractured her foot after she fell at home earlier this year - and is still recovering from her injuries. Mrs Rooney donned a black suit as she appeared at the Royal Courts of Justice in London ahead of the so-called "Wagatha Christie" trial, which starts today.
The internet exploded on October 9, 2019, when Mrs Rooney accused Rebekah Vardy's Instagram account of selling stories about her. Mrs Rooney earned the nicknamed "Wagatha Christie" when she conducted a month's long sting operation to catch the person out who she believed was selling stories about her to The S*n.

After blocking "everybody but one person" from viewing her Instagram stories, Mrs Rooney concluded the source could only be the account of Mrs Vardy. Mrs Vardy, 40, who is married to Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy, denies the accusations and is suing Mrs Rooney for libel.
Under English defamation law, Mrs Rooney must prove her post was "substantially true". Mrs Vardy arrived moments after Mrs Rooney entered the building, wearing sunglasses and a long blue-buttoned dress.
Both women sat at the front of court at the start of the hearing. They are both expected to give evidence in the seven-day trial.
The full trial follows months of preliminary hearings - none of which have been attended by either Mrs Vardy or Mrs Rooney. The case had its first court hearing in November 2020, with a judge finding that Mrs Rooney's post "clearly identified" Mrs Vardy as being "guilty of the serious and consistent breach of trust".
The trial before Mrs Justice Steyn continues, with a decision expected in writing at a later date.
