The casualties keep coming ahead of the NRL's All Stars clash, with star Sydney Roosters duo Jared Waerea-Hargreaves and Joey Manu out of the Maori side.
They join Indigenous superstar Josh Addo-Carr on the sidelines after the gun winger pulled out on Friday in order to focus on club preparations with Canterbury.
Bustling prop Waerea-Hargreaves withdrew citing a flare-up of a lower-back issue, along with a hamstring complaint.
And Manu, who was expected to play fullback for the Maori side, suffered a minor facial fracture while training with the Roosters last week in Queenstown and will also miss the clash.
The Tricolours say neither are in doubt for their round one clash with the Dolphins on March 5 but won't turn out for their heritage side in Rotorua on February 11.
Meanwhile, Addo-Carr's decision to prioritise club football sees him depart the Indigenous squad along with Ezra Mam (Brisbane), Chris Smith (Penrith) and Will Smith (Wests Tigers).
Daine Laurie (Wests Tigers), Albert Kelly (Dolphins), Isaiah Tass (South Sydney) and Braydon Trindall (Cronulla) have been called up to replace them.
A "shattered" Addo-Carr said his decision came after talking to Canterbury staff - including new coach Cameron Ciraldo - and concluding he'd need more training time to be ready for NRL round one.
"I just feel like I need to get my mind and body right. I've only been back the last three weeks, I sat down with the coaches and they went through some stuff that I needed to get right and that's all it was," he told Fox Sports.
"It was a disappointing decision but at the same time I thought about the team before myself.
"I don't want to go there and not be as fit as I could be and there's a lot of risk in that with injury. Everyone here is easing me into training so I just thought it was the right thing."
Elsewhere, Parramatta second-rower Bryce Cartwright could be set to miss round one after breaking his jaw in pre-season training.
It creates selection headaches for the Eels in the back row, with fellow forward Ryan Matterson suspended for the first three games.
