Run glutton Cameron Bancroft has enhanced his chances of a Test recall by posting another Sheffield Shield century.
Bancroft's 100 has gifted Western Australia the upper hand against South Australia in their Adelaide Oval fixture.
WA were 8-377 at stumps after Saturday's third day of play, a lead of 354 runs over the Redbacks.
Bancroft's latest ton boosts his case to replace David Warner as Australia's Test opener when the incumbent retires from the five-day format in January.
The WA righthander's Shield season includes scores of 100, 57, 91 and 122.
Those feats follow his stellar Shield achievements last season when he was the competition's leading run-scorer with 945 at an imposing average of 59.06.
Bancroft was banned from cricket with Warner for the sandpaper scandal in 2018 during an Australian Test against South Africa.
The righthander played two more Tests in 2019 before being discarded.
"I think I've paid my dues," Bancroft said a fortnight ago.
"Like all of us, we've all made mistakes ... that was a long time ago now I've moved on from that.
"I'm a proud Aussie and I'd be honoured to represent my country again at some stage."
Bancroft's 25th first-class hundred has put the reigning Shield champions in a strong position entering the last day against SA.
His teammate Aaron Hardie narrowly missed a milestone when dismissed for 99 while Sam Whiteman made 51.
SA's Wes Agar (2-60), Harry Conway (2-66) and Ben Manenti (2-130) were multiple wicket-takers.
WA were bowled out for 241 in their first innings, with SA replying with 264.
