A man has been arrested and charged following a motorcycle crash that killed a woman in Perth's north.
Police allege the 30-year-old man from Mirrabooka was driving a white Yamaha R1 with the female passenger in Girrawheen on Tuesday about 4pm when he lost control near an intersection.
He allegedly fled on foot after the crash while the pillion passenger, a 31-year-old woman, died at the scene.
The man is facing several charges, including one count of dangerous driving causing death in circumstances of aggravation.
An investigation is ongoing and he is due to appear in Perth Magistrates Court on Saturday.
