A vulnerable Scots woman who disappeared on a family holiday in Italy has been found.
Lisa Cairns went missing from an apartment in Palazzo Mastelloni, in Naples, around 8am on Tuesday after saying she wanted to go on a walk to get some fresh air.
The 44-year-old, who suffers from bipolar disorder and schizophrenia, did not take her medication with her or any belongings.
Worried mum Florence Jenkins, 68, step-dad, Vivian Jenkins, 64, and sister Nicola Cairns, 42, had been scouring the area in a desperate bid to trace Lisa.
The family confirmed she had been found safe in the early hours of Friday morning and was being checked over by medical staff.
They had been conducting their own searches in the area, with the support of several charities, with local police also carrying out enquiries in the area.
