A vulnerable man has been left ‘extremely shaken’ after being attacked by two thugs on a Glasgow street.
The 46-year-old was targeted at around 6.30pm on Sunday, June 19, with police called to the scene on Gordon Street, near Glasgow Central Station.
Officers are appealing for help to catch the two attackers, who are both white and believed to be in their early 20s.
Investigators say one of the men was wearing an orange top at the time of the incident.
Constable Lauren Sloan said: "It is vital we trace the individuals responsible and we are appealing for anyone who may have seen the incident, or anyone who matches the descriptions of the suspects in the area, to come forward.
"We are also particularly keen to speak to a man who came to the aid of the victim and would ask him to contact officers.
"We are continuing with extensive CCTV enquiries and there will be additional patrols in the area."
Anyone with any information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference number 3261 of Sunday, 19 June, 2022 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
