The jury is currently reviewing voucher records that detail the payments made to Michael Cohen by Trump Org.'s accounts payable department. These vouchers are crucial business records linked to several of the 34 falsifying business records charges against Trump.
The records are structured with rows and columns to document the payments. The first column contains the voucher number, which is automatically assigned to invoices when they are sent out.
The second column, labeled 'comp,' indicates the company used to pay the invoice, with DJT rev and DJT (Trump's personal account) listed.
When asked if this indicated the payment was issued, Jeffrey McConney confirmed that it did.
The documents reveal that payments were made between January 1, 2017, and January 5, 2018.
During questioning, McConney explained that the handwriting on the top right of the document summed up the total of the first three payments that were paid out of the president's trust, amounting to $105,000.
