Voter Motivation Surges As Harris And Trump Ratings Rise

Kamala Harris address public gathering

A recent poll conducted has shed light on the increasing favorability ratings of Vice President Harris and former President Trump, as well as the growing motivation among Americans to vote in the upcoming November election.

According to the survey of 9,201 adults, including 7,569 registered voters, Vice President Harris has seen a rise in her overall favorability rating from 36% to 44% since May. Similarly, former President Trump's favorability rating has increased from 39% to 42% during the same period.

Among voters who identify as Democrats or Democrat-leaning independents, Vice President Harris has experienced a significant surge in approval, jumping from 65% to 83%. On the other hand, Trump's approval rating stands at 79% among Republicans and Republican-leaning independents.

Nationally, Vice President Harris is slightly leading former President Trump among all voters, with a margin of 46% to 45%, while Robert F. Kennedy Jr. trails behind at 7%, as per the poll results.

The survey also revealed that there has been a notable increase in the number of voters who express being 'extremely motivated' to vote. 70% of Harris supporters and 72% of Trump supporters reported feeling extremely motivated, up from previous figures in July.

Despite Joe Biden's withdrawal from the presidential race, the poll indicates that he still holds a 37% approval rating among the American public. However, the number of 'double negative' voters, who previously expressed unfavorable views towards both Trump and Biden, has decreased from 25% to 14% with Harris now in the race.

The poll was conducted from August 5 to 11, capturing the sentiments of a significant number of American voters as the November election approaches.
