Vote for who you'd like to see replace Lewis Capaldi at Leeds Festival 2023

Lewis Capaldi has unfortunately had to back out of headlining Leeds Festival 2023.

The star, 26, told fans earlier this summer that he’s decided to take a break from music. Citing the impact Tourette’s has had on his health, Lewis said: “I'm very sorry to let you know I'm going to be taking a break from touring for the foreseeable future.”

Acknowledging his decision, the team behind Leeds Festival and sister event Reading Festival, posted on Twitter: "We’re gutted that Lewis Capaldi won’t be performing at R&L this year, but health comes first and we wish him a speedy recovery. We’re working hard to book a replacement, stay tuned."
