Von Miller: If Bills don’t win the Super Bowl, I want Broncos to win it

Von Miller was back in the Denver area on Monday for an event promoting his foundation, Von’s Vision.

Miller’s foundation has raised more than $4 million since launching 10 years ago, providing glasses and eye care to more than 8,000 low-income students.

Although Miller and the Broncos split last fall, he still has a special connection to the area — and the team.

“Even though I’m not wearing orange and blue, I’ve still got orange and blue in my heart,” Miller said at the event, via KMGH-TV’s Troy Renck. “This is where it started. This is home. This will always be home.”

Miller was traded to the Rams mid-season in 2021 and he won a Super Bowl with Los Angeles before becoming a free agent this spring. The Broncos opted to not pursue Miller in free agency and he ended up signing a massive contract with the Bills.

Despite parting ways with the team, Miller still wishes them success.

“I’ll still be a fan of the Denver Broncos,” Miller said, via KOA Radio’s Brandon Krisztal. “If the Bills don’t win it [the Super Bowl], then I want the Broncos to win it. It’ll always be like that.”

Many fans in Denver feel the same way toward Miller.

He will undoubtedly return to Colorado to retire as a Bronco at the end of his career, but in the meantime, Miller’s got a third Super Bowl title to chase, this time in Buffalo.
