Vogue Williams has admitted that she hasn't "signed herself up" to the next host of the Late Late Show.
And the radio and TV star has shared her disappointment that Miriam O'Callaghan has pulled herself out of the race. Miriam said she did not want to be considered for the coveted spot after Ryan Tubridy announced his departure last week.
Vogue shared her love for Ryan, her disappointment that Miriam isn't in contention and her excitement for Claire Byrne possibly taking over the spot. Claire is hotly tipped as the favourite with bookies.
The Howth native told us: “I love Ryan so much on that show. I really do. But I was kind of disappointed that Miriam pulled herself out of the race.
“She’s great but she pulled herself out which is really disappointing because I thought she would be really, really good at it. I haven’t signed myself up for it.”
Vogue also weighed in on the debate on how the next host should be chosen - and agreed with Pat Kenny that it shouldn't be because of gender. She said it should be the "best person" available to host.
Vogue was speaking as she was announced as brand ambassador for Heineken to support their new “Love Rivalry” campaign.
