Vogue Williams' husband Spencer Matthews labels Irish names 'really stupid'

Vogue Williams' husband Spencer Matthews made it very clear that he is not a fan of Irish names as the pair chatted on their podcast Spencer & Vogue.

Teasing Vogue, he spoke about the complicated spelling of Irish names.

Vogue told him that "there is a name in Irish spelled Sibh", to which he said "I can't be bothered to be honest. Irish names are, I know this is going to be unpopular, but they're really stupid".

Vogue then asked him how he would pronounce Sibh and Spencer guessed "Siobhan".

She then went on to tell him about an Irish insult generator book she found on Instagram, asking him what certain insults meant.

She asked him what he thought of phrases like "your mate's a thieving pox with a head like a melted welly" and "your auld fellas a right amadán who was beat with the ugly stick."

Spencer then went on to take a swipe at Irish drinking flat 7Up when they're sick, calling it "ridiculous".

He said: "What I can't understand is that you are an intelligent person right? That is just something that was done 500 years ago by one madwoman in some like tiny, tiny town and somehow it's managed to spread so that people still talk about it when he's so obviously stupid."
